Just a quick post to let you all know what we have lined up and the timings:

09:30 – 09:45 – Welcome from Chris Byers

09:45 – 10:45 – Large scale Wi-Fi networks and planning from Mark Power (net-ctrl.com)

10:45 – 11:15 - Break (Tea, coffee)

11:15 – 12:15 – Tony Sheppard of EduGeek, School Policies (Paper Pushing for Dummies)

12:15 – 13:15 – Lunch

13:15 – 14:15 – Tom Newton of SmoothWall on network security threats

14:15 – 14:45 – Andrew Rowland of RM with the HP 2133 Mini Note

14:45 – 15:00 – Break

15:00 – 16:00 – Ask the Admins and raffle

16:15 – Closing notes from Chris Byers and giving out of goodie bags.

16:30 – Coach back to the hotel for drinkies and meal.

Yeah ... always happy ... apart from realising that I am now doing an hour ... but I am resigned to the fact that not an EG event will go by without me doing something. Not that I don't like the sound of my own voice ... it is rather spectacular.

Do you reckon there is the chance of getting any of these sessions filmed? I just think a bank of these sort of things would be good.

That's a nice idea. Then those of us who can't make it can see what we missed out on. Every few minutes you could play a few adverts and make some money too. Sorted!

I'll see what I can do for a radio mic or two. Then we just need a mug^Wvolunteer to do the filming and another to edit and include any slideshows / presentations. No point me volunteering for that ... I still have two to do from previous things I have spoken at.
