Right, I've been to see the hotel and unfortuneately they don't do bulk discounts
The hotel I want you all to stay at is the Ibis Preston, as I've arranged for a coach to take you to the conf and back again and it is easier if we are all in one place. It is also very easy to find as it is just off Junction 1 of the M55.
The admins will be in residence on the 28th and 29th May so there is no risk of you getting lonely. We shall aslo be meeeting at the hotel prior to going out for meals etc.
Rooms at £51 per night with breakfast charged seperately. If you are planning to stay in the hotel I shall foot the cost of your breakfast.

Hotel Ibis Preston North: book your Ibis hotel in PRESTON Why don't you find a B&B where they are more desperate to seee your business.. ?

22nd April 2008, 10:04 AM #5 Because we have LOTS of people wanting to stay. We have a coach picking up the conference attendees and you can't do this from a poky B&B on a small street, and it's easy to find. Leave the organization to me will you. Are you even attending?
Besides, it has to be better than the Travel Lodge at Kettering!

22nd April 2008, 01:36 PM #6 There are worse places to stay in Kettering ... I have a better place sorted for future events anyway.

15th May 2008, 02:16 PM #11 On the EduGeek Conference '08 page it says
The hotel we are using costs only £50 a night including breakfast.
RM has sponsored the event and are will refund £20 on arrival taking the cost per night to £30. We are buying you breakfast
So does the room price include breakfast or are you buying it? or am i confused
Picky picky :-)

15th May 2008, 02:27 PM #12 The room prices does NOT include breakfast, which is why we are paying.
This is why it is important for you to fill out the online booking (remember to book the hotel yourself!) form so I know how many of you there are and your names so I can pay at the desk in advance!
P.S. We'll give you the £20 back once you have booked into the hotel in the bar (may be a mistake that
)
