The next conference - May 29th 2008

Just to let you all know that the next EduGeek conference will be heldd on the 29th May at the Lancashire Schools' ICT Centre in Chorley.
To make things a little easier I am going to recommend a Hotel for you all to stay in near Preston and I shall organise a coach to bring you all to the conf and take you back again afterwards. There will be the usual meal for all those wanting to attend in the evening and hopefully some EG goodies for you all.

Just out of interest, how many here would be intersted in staying overnight (or 2 nights)? I may be able to get some kind of discount at the hotel for a bulk booking.

How do we register for this and what is the programme for the day.

ZH I getting a conf page knocked up. You will register with Charlotte at RM but will have to book the hotel yourself (if you wish to overnight or over 2 nights ) and will offset the costs by £20 per night once you arrive. We will also pay your breakfasts and lay on transport for the journey to Chorley. I shall get something off to Shaun today to give you all the info you need. We don't have a timetable as of yet, but have secured SmoothWall to do a session and hopefully RM will be bringing something very shiny, new and never seen before with them. Oh, and we will have a speaker on wireless networks too. We are still getting speakers so please bare with me.
