The Great EduGeek T-Shirt competition of 2006 (Prizes kindly donated
by NETGEAR)
From the Dawn of Time, the human race has searched to create an
identity for itself. Wars have been fought, marriages have broken
down, tears have been shed ...
And then came the Age of Enlightenment.
A rare breed (ggeks) stood above the others and said, "No more! I am
better than this, I can create my own identity", and promptly copied
what everyone else was doing.
To stave off the impending sheepdom of geeks out there a generation
of T-shirt were born ... distributing clue to users ... there is no
place like 127.0.0.1 ... the list goes on.
And now, it is your turn to put a marker in time.
Edugeek wants you!
The Staff of EduGeek hereby announce the Great EduGeek T-Shirt
Competition of 2006.
We have very kindly had a donation of Prizes from NETGEAR, more
details of which are below.
And now for the rules.
The t-shirt design must be original and must not infringe on any
copyrighted materials.
The t-shirt designs will be publish on the website and comments can
be made, but Dos_Box's decision is final.
The rights to the design go to EduGeek, but purely so that any monies
raised can be used so that we can run future events that cannot be
covered by our work with groups like SSAT.
T-shirst and cups will be made and sold via a Cafe Press site.
EduGeek Staff, their relatives, their pets and their futureselves may
not enter.
You can enter as many times as you wish.
Entries must be posted in jpeg or png format and during the initail
judging be no more than 400x400. You will be asked for a higher
quality image at a later date.
All entries should be made through the "competition" thread, and
EduGeek staff will the stick them into the gallery when appropriate.
Any queries about the competition, or the validity of some of the
entries should be PMed to RussDev, GrumbleDook or dos_box.
And finally ... DB'S WORD IS FINAL!!!!!!
Just thought I'd mention it ...
The first prize that NETGEAR have donated is a NETGEAR SC101. More
details about the product can be found at http://www.netgear.com/
products/details/SC101.php
We then have 4 "nearly, but not quite" prizes of the nice little WiFi
Trekkers that NETGEAR were giving away at BETT.

One question, can the t shirt have something on either side ie the back and front ?
Also I found this quote which I would put on my t shirt if I made one but in L33t so it isnt obvious to staff members what it said, at least for the most part.
"Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak."

Another one ( not sure if this is copy right ) since it was in an above post so I am not trying to steal here but
on one side of a shirt have :
Network managers do it with the firewall on !
The back side of the shirt have :
IT Technicians do it with the firewall off !
Or visa versa depending on how you look at it
