There are a few places like Travel Inn and Travel Lodge in Kettering and a Holiday Inn in Corby ...

Travel Lodge is around £26-30 depending on how far in advance you book it. For others you would have to visit their sites.

178miles for me this one. I reckon the next EduGeek North conference should actually be somewhere in the North, Eg. Durham

@ZeroHour: It would be great to have one in Scotland IMHO. However, due to politics the Specialist Schools Trust has no clout in Scotland so are not able to help us out in the way that they usually do

Yeh I have a funny feeling the geek does not have the same presence in Scotland as it does in England. SETT next year would be good but I am not sure how many techs go to that other then me.

Damn it. I'm not in the country for this. Unfortunately, I will be in EuroDisney enjoying the 15th Anniversary and Halloween celebrations.

Any chance of another one of these a bit further north? A three hour drive is bit much for me.

You must be so disapointed having to ride all that lovely entertainment.
Your credit card company will be happy though when you buy anyone anything to drink, its MEGA expensive

Both Ric and I are coming from Preston, but point taken. I would like to get something organised closer to Scotland. Perhaps Carlisle way in the future.
