y'know just the two 'e's in the middle make for a good 'mini logo'... and actually read as 'EG' - I recon that could be the defining simple logo version some people say we need. Would work as a favicon for the site too.

I really dont see what is wrong with the current one, a logo with a black background with multiple colours placed on it just makes it look a mess, perhaps members could post there verisons.

I'd make it all lower case though!

Issue with current one is cost to have it printed costs arm and leg and bit more. As it made up of more than 3/4 colours infact it is made up of about 12 colours which anyone in print industry will tell you more colours = more dosh please.

I can't believe all the fuss over a new logo. There was a thread a while ago about it too.
Some may get off on a new logo, I certainly don't !!

right, just knocked this up as a quick example - is this more the kind of 'professional' look that people would prefer

I know its shoddy but I only spent a couple of seconds on it.
