At long last here it is. I hope it meets with your approval. It took quite some time to get right.

Cool! 8) Is this the professional one or the T-shirt one or both?![]()
I prefer the Edu from the old logo
Sorry DB, but I don't like it.
I think a good logo needs to be simple and TBH, that one looks like a dogs breakfast.
I hope I proved wrong though...

I think there is to much black, sorry![]()
- Too much black if you're printing it.
- It could stand to loose the www, cause who actually says that?
- Maybe keep the bit we've already got with the cursive "Edu".
I like the geek bit and the angel over the .net. Very "Simon Templar" (ref: The Saint). Text at the bottom is fine too.![]()
I actually quite like it.![]()

All text will be editable and the black oval is to be removed in some cases.
Like the font style of the existing logo better but spsrt from that looks OK.
I have to agree with the some of the others, the design is to 'busy'. Nearely all the best titles and logos subsribe to 'KISS'. Hmm let me post this design to to some friends I have in the commericial design world for their comments and suggestions. (give me a couple of weeks). I think what they may have to say will prove usefull at the very least.

i think you should update the existing logo

The person who did this with me IS in the commercial design world. Not all designers will agree with each other. This design however is modular. What is show in the 'full' version. The 'www', '.net' and the oval are all removable to suit the situation.Originally Posted by eduabncs
Remember, as a site we are hit randomly from Google visitors and need to spell out who we are quickly and easily. I will concede that the black oval needs lightening though. It looked better on the PC we did it on.
