Well, what can I say. I've just spent 2 hours at my designer friends house and we looked at the logo, and looked and looked then we realised how bad it was.
So we are going back to the drawing board, taking Sysmans logo and stealing it. You shall see the results at the conference, but the design will be changed slightly and it will look very, very good indeed.

Is that a serious we've realised that the proposed were bad or is that humorous? (sorry bad day at the office so my humor / serious scanners dead)

So a commercial designer is using the work of an amature as a basis of his design. Hummmm. I look forward to seeing my stolen logo next month

On a lighter note of course it will look very, very good. I kind of made it

Time for a career change? Anyone want a logo?

My friend just looked at me after about an hour and told me we'd made a camel (a horse designed by comittee). We looked at Sysmans and added a couple of new features, not changing the feel and layout and I should have something by next week. I may save it for ther conf before showing it publicly

Will SYSMAN be getting any royalties for his work then?

he will at least get the reward that he deserves, his hard work up in lights Lets hope DBs designer friend hasn't butchered it too much as i've seen these designers at work before and they can be really quite evil people at times

We are going to be using your design but are altering the two 'e's a bit. They shall be stylised on off switches turned on their sides to look like 'e's.
One shall be the nice glowing neon blue found on LEDs and the other red. One shall have tiny horns and possibly a little tail.
