    The rss feed for forums seems to have stopped working The rss news feed seems to work still though

    Ric came to conclusion that what was happening with the old database server was every so often server would not allow cms to connect.

    As it took about 3 hours for me and Ric to get a decent backup due to it dropping connections all the while.

    Russ... just a note.. the mysql tools I listed in my original post are just as valid for a dedicated server as a VPS.. Useful for tuning the db.
