Heh! We do goodIt's a little surreal actually, we talk to and have members form all levels and of the eduction sector, from central govt to industry. We are read and monitored by them all, all comments here (especially the gripes) are taken in and reflected upon by those and the products they were directed at. We are about to go a little corporate with IDG Communications running our advertising (http://www.idg.com/www/homenew.nsf/home?readform) to provide us with a regular income to help fund BETT 2008 and the sites development. When I look at the hot counter on the homepage I have to times it by at least 3 as it only records homepage hits most jump in from Google into the forums. Our webstats show that get far more real hits than are recorded. We are scarily big now, and getting bigger by the day.
I still can't find anyone willing to be the first to roll out Vista though![]()

Erm ... I have 3 schools that I know are rolling out Vista this summer. When I asked if they could do a short report to post on here or the ICT Register I was told they would be way too busy to consider doing that ... after all, this is Vista they are rolling out!

They must be either a) mad or b) being paid by microsoft :P
Most likely the first...i'll fetch the Electro Shock kit!
It would be interesting to see schools that are rolling out maintain some kind of wiki with problems they've found as they go along like incompatable software and then what steps they've done to fix or work around them. It would also help them keep track of the roll out I suppose...but yeah...people are too busy.

Hey I love Vista, its just sooo many machiens, read all of them, need at least another 1GB of Ram adding to them
