Sok found out what it is. A Harlequin ladybird.

Ah, that's what it is. I saw one the other day and my wife recognised it as:
"What the *#!@ is that? Quick, get a newspaper and kill it".
Seems quite a long name but that goes for much of latin animal and insect names.
Kill it! Our temporary school Hogwarts was infested! They are killing off the real ones.
Current protocol in keeping up with modern times means the correct way to dispose of these critters is by beating/flattening with an iPad.
