Hi all,
Ive been using edugeek for a while now and find it a fantastic helpful reference for my Job, I thought its time to stop being rude and introduce myself,
Ive been working the past 7 years as a full time ICT Technician in a Primary School in South Devon the Job description needs to be changed to GDB "general dogs body" sometimes as I bet a lot of you can relate to how many varied jobs you get not related to ICT working in Primary not complaining as it makes it a varied Job :)
Hi, I`m Vince.I`m a network manager (with a staff of 1) at a secondary school in London. It`s pretty much a vanilla 2003/XP platform, but with lots of twiddly bits (2 networks,300+ machines, 700 hot-desking users,30+ interactive whiteboards and a MLE attached) which is probably similar to a lot of posters here.I have observed this site for some time and have always liked the honest advice offered.Posters seem to want to help eachother and not just gain kudos and prestige for their technical knowledge.
I will try to add anything useful I learn as I go along.
Schools would be great if there were no students and no teachers.
:welcome:Peeps
