About King Solomon Academy
The academy opened in September 2007 and is growing each year with a new intake. This September, the academy’s secondary school will open and both the primary and secondary school will move into new, state of the art facilities.
The academy’s approach is one of complete commitment to our pupils. The staff body is made up of a committed cohort of teachers and support staff from varied backgrounds, brought together around a vision of a caring, supportive community who are inspired to work with endeavour and enthusiasm towards our goals. We feel the current educational opportunities for pupils from inner-city London communities are unacceptable. We aim to do whatever it takes to provide every single one of our pupils with the real and tangible opportunity to go on to university when they leave school at 18 years old if they so chose.
The academy is unique in several ways. It is all-through, providing a seamless journey for pupils from 3-18. It is made up of small schools for different age groups. By keeping the school sizes small we ensure that pupils and teachers know each other’s name, and can build strong, positive, relationships. We believe that through this and hard work and thoughtful planning, we will ensure that pupil behaviour at the academy is exemplary.
We start in our new facilities this summer with over 30 teaching and support staff moving into our high-tech and brand-new facilities. We look forward to IT playing a crucial role in supporting learning in the years ahead.

Welcome to the wierd world of Edugeek!
No, I am not. Sincerely I just googled for "gsm power switch" and landed on one of the pages of your forum where some poeple discuss such devices and noone of them seems to have information about where to find such thing. So i decided to post some info.
Me personally working as sales&marketing manager for electronic eqipment manufactured by company I work for. On the other hand sometimes I write articles related to IT/Games and publish them with some online portals (normally in russian language), make web-programming also as freelancer and have own software project. I dont think this could be interesting to educational IT professionals because sincerely speaking I didn't payed attention to main idea of this society when I registered, I just wanted to share info with guys on that forum. :)
Actually, we do have quite a few people who don't work in education. Personally I think that you can offer quite a lot in terms of help and advice (not sales!) given that quite a few of us are involved with websites, gaming and the like.
So welcome anyway!
Yup! Welcome Alexo! :)
