A few things required...
My school is looking to implement an outdoor speaker system around the outer fringes of the school fence, and also wants a rainproof TV screen (encased in an enclosure) that a teacher can hook up their iPad/laptop to.
We have what's called a nature trail for the students; it's a glorified garden path for them to walk along and it's anticipated that some of the speakers will be dotted along this pathway.
Can anyone recommend me a few companies/suppliers that specialise in the above?
Furthermore, our school alarm bell (the one that rings out when a lesson has started/ended, when it's lunchtime etc) no longer works and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could look for a company that does school alarm bells? (Preferably tried and tested and comes highly recommended)
Where abouts in the UK are you could help :)
As for sessional bells they are simple bell / sounder systems and a simple 7 day programmer, I would suggest you speak to your local sparky to get that sorted its probably the programmer that has died or the contactor.
The school is based north west of Birmingham. I did look at the bell system and the company that did the initial set up folded some years ago so I'm at a loss of where to begin my search.
Have you checked into places that wire up local bars and or marine audio/electrical suppliers they often deal with outdoor waterproof speaker systems.
Danfoss timer is what a lot of schools use for their class change bells.
AS for outdoor tv's the local AV/Network company I use have IP rated enclosures for TV's I believe Advantage Technologies
Local Electricans IE any electrican will be able to do a school bell system, as Ben has said further down Danfoss 7 day programmers are common but all you need is a simple 7 day programmer and some 240V bells and wired correctly job done :)
