wow, how narrow minded! :) I know a fair few 80 year olds that would put most of us to shame!
True indeed. In all honesty though I haven't watched it with sound yet :)
I just always thought that such things should be dealt with by going to the source - actually asking and "following" the target audience and letting them have their say, rather than one of the biggest things wrong in the world at the moment - people telling other people what they need to make their lives easier.
TBH I dont think they are being narrow minded - what they are saying is that as the body ages, this is what happens - yes of course there will be some older people who dont feel these effects quite as much as this but if you ask them they will tell you that despite appearances to the contrary, things are more difficult to do as you age.
They are working on purely physiological changes and how these things affect daily life. IMHO we could all try wearing a suit like this - it might make us a bit more empathetic
I don't need a suit - I feel 75 most the time anyway! (Hence another drive in 2012 to cut down some/nearly all of my body weight!)
My views on this sort of thing stem from a naivety thinking that people shouldn't need help to be empathetic. Don't think it'd hurt some of the kids though! Some of them need to learn a lot of empathy/respect for their elders.
