Drivers? What drivers? I don't know what you're talking about...

Some days, I think our server just wants to make me look bad...

Over half-term I was on site rebuilding all the classroom computers. I've rebuilt things here and there, but haven't done a whole site rebuild.

It all looked good, until I started getting jobs logged about no sound.

Yup. Sound drivers have gone walkabout.

Any ideas on what's happened?

We're running XP SP3 on CC3. We have the RM hardware support packs [according to add/remove programs it's HSP 4 - 16 and 22 - 46]

It's not all the machines, and I've tried rerebuilding. But, it's acting like there are no drivers there.

Seriously... I should rename our server HAL 9000 or Skynet. Especially as it's now telling people it can't let them do certain things.

Sigmatel IDT [Audio]
Intel GMAX4500HD [Video]
NVidia G210 [Video]

[List may or may not be the entire list of missing drivers... it was on some paper I just found.]
