Recommend me an e-reader/cheap tablet
I'm finally ready to give in to buying a tablet type device... but I do have a bl**dy good reason!
Having recently started uni, it's fast becoming apparent that my nomadic lifestyle and half a ton of books don't mix, so I'm looking to plump for an e-reader/tablet.
I don't need an all singing, all dancing device, I simply need something capable of displaying PDF's in colour, and I'd really like to spend no more than £100.
I've had a look at a Kindle and must say I was mighty impressed by their screen, but I think I'm right in believing they have their own file format and don't support PDF's or graphics; aren't I?
My first instinct is to go for a cheap Android tablet from eBay - I know they're not going to be the fastest devices in the world or have the best touch screen, but would those of you who have used them recommend them for my basic needs?
I do have a netbook which I use for my general browsing as I like to have a keyboard, but the widescreen format doesn't make for good reading IMO.
