Weather in Chorely 7pm-Midnight on Saturday

Now - I've got the best all weather BBQ facilities in the North-West but since we've got 30 people coming to a farewell to the kids BBQ on Saturday night I need the best weather info available!

As a geek, I profess to be a very capable metrologist (:) ) and I use met office surface pressure charts/rain radar sites and occasional condescend to look at the guff the BBC put out but I'm looking to access near real-time info on Saturday (met office only update charts at start of day)

Anyone use better sources?(The under-the-counter stuff :) )

Well it acording to that site - 7pm Saturday is the best time alll weekend to have a BBQ :)

Ah - but by having all (<gale force storm) facilities - the wether gods usually back off cause it not worth it :)

But this week, the've been just kept up a continous rain barrage :)

It's Chorley. It's either raining, just about to rain, just stopped raining (pending more rain) or damp. I worked in Chorley for 6 years and went through a set of wiper blades every 3 months*

*This is not true. It just felt true.

I use a pine cone which I place the in the garden.

If the pine cone is wet, it's raining.

If the pine cone is dry, it's going to rain soon.

If the pine cone is gone, it's windy.



But I jest, MetCheck is pretty good.

It's our Annual Salt Festival today and the forecast did not look good. But it has been really warm and the rain held off. That is, it held off until I went down this afternoon and then it started to chuck it down. There was only one place to shelter; the real-ale tent! Life can be a real bitch at times :) We've had really heavy showers on and off all evening. Hope it's better in Chorley.

2 spots of rain - no prob - everyone chillin :)
