VBS Scipt to silently uninstall MS Office required please!
My VBS skills seem to have waned or perhaps I was just carp to begin with. I used to have a script that would uninstall a set application on a given date from teacher laptops. We used it to remove a variety of applications so not as to be caught out when a licencing period came to an end or was not renewed.
It was handy if the laptop was an infrequent visitor to the school and it was amazingly effective at prompting the recalcitrant staff member to bring it back in for some TLC.
I can't find the script despite searching and it looks like it's been lost - it has been some years since we needed it.
Does anyone have or can knock up for me a vbs script that we can run as a scheduled task to silently uninstall or automatically remove the likes of Microsoft Office 2007? I've bashed together one but Office gets its knickers in a twist on our test PC when we run it and I don't whether it's me being lame or a combination of the fact it's me being useless and it's Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows 7 we're dealing with.
Box of beer of your choice to whoever can nail this one. Many thanks.
