Which Union is the best Union?

I use GMB, based in Sutton area South East, had nothing but top quality support.

Had a problem last year, the rep I was sent was top notch.

I had to contact the union yesterday about our little honeymoon problem (another thread) and they got straight back to me with sound advice (within 10 minutes of emailing I had a reply), so at the moment Voice are really impressing me.

Also, just signed the missus up with Voice - she's full-time, term-time like yourself and it's £105 a year if paid in a oner, or £108 if paid in monthly installments.

Does not being part of the TUC mean that they then don't have a voice? They are just a support group then?

I'm a member of ATL, never had to use them so cant say if any good or not. One other member of staff here is always getting advice from them and seems happy though.

No, it means they are a Union with no affiliaton with the Labour party or any other political party, the TUC was born from the Labour party. This means The Voice doesn't have a political agenda based on the views of one political party but instead operates based on the views of it's members.
