I just wanted to see what people think is the most used IT Support reply is.

'No, of course your not being thick.'
The thoughts are different.
"Have you tried closing it and re-opening it? / turning it off and then on again? / restarting your PC?"
i don't like it when you answer the phone in your dinner break and say "I know your on your dinner, but...."
"yes I had a great <insert school holiday> thank you for asking"
For those of us with CC4: "Try restarting RMServiceHost" ;P
Puter says No
"It's working as intended, you just didn't bother to attend the (many, termly) training sessions. Oh, completion of that is linked to your upcoming performance review? Muahahahahaha"

I know it's not a support answer, but I use it almost every phonecall, ha ha
had this this morning
Error Message: Something along the lines of Outlook has crashed please close outlook and open it again
Teacher > Me: my outlook has crashed.
Me > Teahcer: what does the error say
Teacher > Me: Error message mentioned above
Me > teacher: Have you done what the error message says
Teacher > me: No
Me > Teacher: ok well do what the error says
Teacher closes outlook and opens again
Teacher > Me: oh it works now Hangs up phone no saying thanks!

the best thing is, restarting it works half the time :)
It's a carbon based error
