One that no-one will have seen yet (including myself), but that I'm pretty sure will be awesome - the source material is - is "Game of Thrones". Starts April/May on HBO and Sky Atlantic.

another vote for misfits and peep show. been catching up with both on 4od in recent weeks.
the second series of misfits in particular has been ace.
to throw one or two dramas/comedy in from yesteryear.
A Fatal inversion [bbc drama adapted from a ruth rendell novel aired in early 90s]
Comic Strip presents [four men in a car and supergrass being my favourites.]
Gideon's daughter [a two-part bbc drama, this time earlier in the noughties.]
Tripping over [soap/drama ran for one series on five]
the sci-fi stuff that a lot of people seem to like i just can't be arsed with. i think it's just individual taste, although amongst the imported american stuff Mad Men and Arrested development stand/stood head and shoulders in their respective genres...in my opinion ofcourse.
there used to be some great dramas/adapted novels on the bbc and itv. not so much nowadays.
If you haven't seen it yet, HBO's 'Rome' was a first class series.
All over now but if you haven't seen it: Battlestar Galactica.

The Shield was an amazing TV show. I recommend that to anybody. Think of it as The Bill on crack.
It is a very very hard hitting TV show. But wow, it's a roller coaster ride.
Eastenders and Hollyoaks.....OMG OMG OMG!!!!
:getmecoat:
Seriously though, Futurama this year has definitely gone off the boil, the Xmas episode just gone was dire.
Still Game (Scottish comedy) is very funny but not shown as much in England as it is on Scottish TV.
a +1 for the walking dead, thoroughly enjoyed the first 6 episodes, spent last monday and tuesday watching them when i was off work ill
Dharma and Greg :D Love it, used to watch it all the time when I lived at home, now I've got the missus hooked on it :D
Mind you, I love pretty much anything on TV. Our Sky+ box is filled with programs from Living. Medium, Ghost Whisperer (till it ended), Dharma & Greg, Drop Dead Diva, Four Weddings, Mike & Molly, and there's also Supernatural - even though we've got the first four seasons on DVD :P
I used to watch CSI (all of them!), 24, Law and Order, but then realised I never got the time to watch any of them and they were all the same. ... and all a bit rubbish :D The CSI Supernatural spoof was brilliant :D
CSi for me has gone downhill. two episodes on Miami now have focused on them solving cases by ghosts talking to them or them being in comas, solving the case in that and then waking from the coma.
