Hi,
I have recently applied for a post in a college, and they said that I have been shortlisted and that before they do the interview, the will do an hour long test.
Anyone have any ideas as to what they would test us on?

What is the post? Without knowing the job title and level, it's hard to guess.
Hi - the post is for ICT Technician.
Thanks
Ah the age old question, No idea is the short answer, best bet is to read through the job descirption and make sure your clued up on the technologies they talk about.
A 1 hour exam is a little extreme IMO, but i've found it to be fairly common practice to either ask you some tech based questions with set answers, or to have a 'test rig' for you to do a diagnose/fix with.
A previous NM job I went for, one of the other applicants aced the interview, but got to the practical and announced "Oh I don't do the physical stuff. I haven't been inside a PC case in years." Suffice to say he did not get the job ;)
