Ok, so i'm making this crap up, but what if i wasn't.
I used to share an office with a lad who was addicted to Kinders - and got me hooked as well - we used to get trays of 2 dozen each lunchtime and make up the toys and give the (frankly rather nasty) chocolate away. By the time I left the job we had several large carrier bags of lpastic toys to take away. On getting home my missus took me to task about it - and I did actually feel pretty silly at wasting all that money on silly plastic toys...
Bet the kids loved coming to your office for help at lunch!
Chris
after reading this thread yesterday i had to go buy myself a kinder egg...could i open the toy inside...nope! gave up in the end and just ate the chocolate! :D
Ah no - I was a Systems Manager for a big legal firm in those days - and the lawyers didn't want to play...unless they could charge for it in 6 minute chunks...Quote:

I remember my fav was a motorbike that had a little motor that I'd get every so often. But 50p in the 80's was a very expensive Kinder Egg. Nowadays you get some stupid molded cartoon character that no one has ever heard of. It's only worth it for the unique chocolate.
Those were the days! Look at me, getting nostalgic at 24!
