oooh finally the home user ones, I looked ages ago for them and couldn't find them but that was when Ruckus was new to the UK, so I just settled for the Netgear with the Ruckus Antennas in it ;)
I tried reading the description as to what it is, but gave up very quickly due to the amount of pointless waffle in there repeating itself, and talking about it's own proprietary stuff it's got built in that NOONE except someone who has already got their product would know what it does.
So rant over, what the hell is it?
From Multimedia 802.11n (MediaFlex 7000 Series) | Ruckus Wireless
Note - the one above isnt NQuote:
The MediaFlex 7000 series is the first carrier-class 802.11n multimedia system designed to reliably distribute High Definition (HD) IP-based video (IPTV) over Wi-Fi. A complete solution for video-grade wireless networking, the MediaFlex system consists of the Ruckus MediaFlex 7811 multimedia access point (AP) and the Ruckus MediaFlex 7111 multimedia Wi-Fi adapter. With these two fully-loaded products, consumers can now enjoy multimedia content anywhere in their homes, all without wires.
I have a g/n wireless at home with all the trimmings, I have no problem streaming HD tv over it... I did have a gigabit cabled network, but the cable has gone faulty somewhere along the way :(
