Job Title: Network Manager or Administrator
I've been asked to rewrite my job description. I basically run the network/telephone system/provide all the IT support. I have a boss who is "Head of ICT" and a teacher.
I have put "Network Manager" as job title, but there seems to be an issue with this as I do not manage people.
Do you have to manage people to be a network manager? I do manage the consultants/any IT companies who come in to do stuff etc.
The day to day running of the whole school network is down to me basically.
Just wonder what folk think.
