Has anyone ever tried creating a virtual MAC OS (e.g. Snow Leopard) on Windows using such products as VMware, VirtualBox to name a few?
If so, did it work and is the experience the same as you would get on MAC hardware?

You have to run mac OSX on apple hardware, with the exception of their server products

Of course it's got to be licensed, etc
Simple answer, yes. There are hidden hacks in vmware to make it realise that it's running OSX, therefor it runs a ton faster than if you told it it was just running unix for example ;)

As long as you have a license, Apple would have a hard time fighting it

Regardless there will be some performance issues due to it being in a VM. But can it work and run just like a mac? Yes but that realy depends how much time you've got to spend.Quote:
