OpenSource Education Conference

Anybody going to this OpenSource conference ?

It's free for School and LEA staff and is aimed at Teachers and Technical staff:

Probably, if I can get school to pay for my train fair and convince my girlfriend that Nottingham might be a nice place to visit this summer :-) I'll probably aim to give a quick (3-minute) presentation on either Installing Open Source Software (we had a whole thread about it a while back), or if I have my BECTA-standard IWB software working by then I'll demonstrate that.

Local authority staff shjould cover most technicians / network managers?

The first section at Unconference 09 | Open Source Schools and the copy on our front page reads "Places are free for all school and local authority staff", which is what we meant. I'll correct the other copy. My apologies.

Okay, I've just proposed a session carrying on from a disscussion we had a few weeks back. Please feel free to add your own input (in particular, can anyone remember the name of the Open Source MSI compiler and/or diff utility?).
