Writing a letter for time off
This is the first job I've had and would like to book time off.
I know I have to write a letter asking for it, but I don't know how formal to be. I wanted to send an email but supposedly that would be good enough. So a letter it is. (what the difference is, I don't know.)
For starters do I have to put all the address and stuff? I don't really want to, I just want to print a letter, sign it and hand it to her.
Also, do I put "Dear *name*" or just a "*name*" or "To *name*"?
And to end it, do I put "Thanks in anticipation" or "Thanks in advance" or nothing at all?
Any help would be appreciated :o
