How fast is your ISP?
In light of the ASA threatening ISP's with false advertising for 'upto 8Mbps' etc, Lets see how fast your ISP actually is.

Location - London
Type - ADSL2
Advertised Bandwidth - 16Mbps
ISP - Be
Location - Small town outside glasgow
Type - ADSL2
Advertised Bandwidth - Upto 24mb
I must add, that Ive done a LOT of internal work on the phone system to optimize the speeds. At first I was only getting ~ 10mb.
No LLU here in the sticks :(
Location: middle of nowhere (wait, their location? London)
Advertised throughput (because bandwidth is a different statistic): 8Mib/s
This is works and home as i live on site :)
Well if were getting into mines bigger than yours!

How have you got that upload? I thought the 10Mb lines only had a 512k upload, and the 768k was for the 20Mb lines? Has there been an increase that I don't know of? :p
