Let's face it, it's not like he's doing downhill or anything!
lol no the thought of hitting a tree at 30mph puts me off the idea of downhill, well for now at least, i tend to get roped in to things from time to time. thanks for help ill be probs firing more questions up near xmas about disc breaks.

These are actually the brakes I have, except I have the normal ones which aren't pink.
Well.. my front disc is pink with the flowers, but I don't have the pink caliper.
But yes, dirt cheap don't you think :D
Hope disk brakes on my bike, and for me these have been the best.

never had Hydraulic breaks before, seem like a pain to repair, v breaks have to be the easiest thing on a bike to fix so will have to swat up on disc breaks before i change
Got Hayers Stroker Trails on my Stinky though, they're wonderful!
Another quick Hydro tip, as we're on the subject, if you find you have a lot of air in your hoses, and your brake levers pull right back to the grip when you pull them... before bleeding them straight away, cable tie them as far back (as close to the bar) as you can and leave if for a night.
For some reason it makes it all better.. unless they actually need bleeding then it won't change alot :p
But it's always worth a try
That's not downhill. That's "slight incline" ;)
Good point :D
I don't get any of this off road stuff anyway. Give me a road bike and I'm happy :)
I think all of these are also essential... :D
