Multitouch: SMART Table for Kids is Like a Cheaper, Funner-er Microsoft Surface
I think the SMART Table is an all in one solution, so no need for a projector. Plus has multi touch ala MS Surface. Can see this being the one to see at BETT.
Press Release here.
We have a demo unit of this Table. What kind of questions do you guys have I can see if I can answer it.
I've been asked to source an interactive table, and a product called 'see point' or possibly 'cpoint' was mentioned to me, however i can find nothing online about this, does anyone know of this product?
Well, SeePoint Kiosks - Touch Screen Kiosk Manufacturer make touchscreens but they are more PoS and Kiosk type rather than suited to education. They don't seem t have a table in the product lineup anyway. The SMART Table or Microsoft Surface based products are the only real contenders that I know of, but I think the Surface is only actually coming to market properly this year with a model from Samsung.
That SeePoint company is based in the states, i find it highly unlikely that is whom i was asked to look for.
There are plenty out there now.
Try some firms like SMART, ProBrand, Interactive Education. They'll have the best advice.
