Bidder 2 is a psudonim that eBay uses to hide your identity to stop spammers then finding your ID and then eBay messaging you spam basically, you will see bidder 3, 4, 5 etc for each unieque bidder on that auction. Sometimes it doesn't always work though so you will see members names, so don't worry mate your not being stalked by the evil Mr Bidder 2!!
Don't forget those bidders may have put in a maximum bid so as soon as the 1st bid was made, then the bidding would kick in until the bidders reached the maximum they had told ebay they want to bid.
You always get a flurry of bids in the last hour of an auction and it is always recommended to run an auction so it ends on a sunday that way you have a better chance of selling your item.
Yeh i knew about the maximum bid thing but not the psudonims' like i say i don't use ebay very often and it seemed odd.
I got mine from TK Maxx - always worth having a look in there if you have a local one, past season walking trousers don't go for very much. Think I paid under £20 for a nice dark blue pair of Regatta(?) ones (can't check ATM as I'm at work and not wearing them!)
