Sod the bush - report your neighbours - they're probably illegals and the house is a cannabis factory. We had this two streets away from us.

If any bush or tree is on your property (in your boundary line) then you have the right to cut it no matter what. You dont even need to inform them. We had a big dispute with some neighbours round here, even if their bush/tree isnt on our land they throw the left overs over, #@"*&%@#$!!!!
