We are thinking of upgrading our phone system (no extensions left) to a VOIP phone system. But our business manager is raising the point that with BSF round the corner for u (supposedly next April) that we should wait for them.
Does any one know if BSF stretches as far as covering a VOIP phone system or is it something that will have to be installed out of th school budget?
You'd have to speak to your LEA and the BSF provider for your area. It all depends on what is decided on.
If they don't cover it, you'd have to enquire about whether they will let you plug your VOIP devices into the network.
We use a splicecom system, really quite good, and you don't have to invest in VOIP phones.
