My stepson has said just this week that half of his school are hooked on Tesco’s energy drink “KICK”
Anyone else noticed students on a caffine high?
Another energy drink is relentless in quite large cans!

My brother brought home some Relentless. I don't mind energy drinks if you are following it with exercise and what not but the size of this can was enough to give the fittest guy a heart attack!

I'm not a caffeine junkie as a rule but when you've had a late night, they sure do help! :drunken_smilie: I agree though, it's a huuuge can and I could never drink it all in one go - I space it out over a couple of hours.
I don't have energy drinks that often, but they sure do help in the middle of the night when your trying so hard to stay awake :D

We've banned kids from having all of this sort of stuff as well as big bottles of coke etc...

I'm hearing tales of students drinking three or four cans before an exam?

One person seems to think yes. It's only addictive if you like it though. Can't stand the taste of the stuff myself. Give me a good old fashioned coffee any day :D

Energy drinks like that are just plain S**t, you're better off making a nice fruit smoothie, this will give you a lot more energy than that crap and you don't have the 'come down' after the drink has gone through your system.
Failing that drink plenty of water gives you a lot more energy as well.

Caffine is a drug, so you can indeed get addicted. I think a lot of it is common sense to be honest. If you consume too much of anything it can make you ill.
Too much chocolate, watch the weight appear :)
I had 8 Red Bulls to do an all-nighter at university once. It wasn't nearly enough!
