Maybe it was tribes. That's free to download now and you can run 64 player servers. :)

Surely the security would stop non admin users installing software to the machines though?

You don't need to install it. Just unzip it into a folder and it works.

Used to love this game, we used to install it on the PCs at College (though we never got supsended for it!) Downloaded it free quite recently - couldn't quite get back into it though.
