Liquid Rubber - What's the best way to apply it?
OK, here's one to test your combined knowledge. Our west facing flat roof developed a leak after the summer which we only found out about during Fridays 'big rain'. Went up there and the rubberised covering that was applied over 10 years ago has started to deteriorate. So over the weekend I've cleaned it off and applied fungicide which has worked a treat to clean it off and have brought a large tin of liquid rubber from B&Q to re-seal the roof.
This morning I was up there at 07:30 sweeping off the standing water to allow it to dry out for me to apply the rubber this afternoon. What I want to know is if any of you have ever used this stuff before and what you used to apply it. I'm thinking of using a large emulsion brush as it will allow me to apply a large amount in a short space of time. Is there another method I could possibly use?
