GREED: I think that you and anyone who suffers from arachnophobia can rest easy [based on the evidence of this picture anyway]
Not all spiders... Just the medium sized ones that run at you like a biatch...
Ironically I like tarantulas
There were 2 in my old shed, about the side of an adult palm (legs out), I named them Burt and Earnie... coz they just hang around and you want to punch them in the face!
We rescued another carrying about a dozen babies on her back a couple of days before, but didn't get a picture.
We haven't found any scorpions yet this year. There was rather an impressive one living in the plug hole of the garage sink of the house we rented a couple of years ago. We saw it out and about every evening,
Spiders :( Just keep hidden and i'm fine. Had one in the bath the other week that refused to budge. Had to put a glass salad bowl over it so I could have a shower.
getting the shivers reading this thread, hate majority of insects here ! that moth can indeed bugger off too !
Concerned that he/she might get crushed in a busy pub I caught him/her and went outside to release him/her. When I opened my hands there was nothing to throw away. It was dark and I assumed that I hadn't seen it scamper away. However when I got home and took off my large coat my wife spotted that I had a visitor running around my chest [I went outside and made sure that I had brushed him/her off]
I guess that there was a gap between my fingers and he/she ran up my arm and found somewhere warm and dark to spend the evening.
Not such a clear photograph as this was sitting in a tree about 3 foot above me, but this is the previously posted insect's partner in crime, the male version with closer together eyes. Looks mean, but totally harmless.
