Why am I not Surprised that Glencoe and Fort William have the highest level of these annoying blighters...
Had many a camping holiday in the Trossachs!!.. And yeah the Midges are pretty nasty there too!
Ah - nostalgia. I almost feel guilty about not missing living in Scotland.
Yeah I get that too - then I think... its at least 30C here in Manchester and in FW its been a tad wet...
I'm going to Inverness in August and forgot these little blighters existed! :(
I still remember visiting Fort William as a kid and running through a swarm of bugs that started biting. Ouch!
Sky Pirhanas? :D
best way to keep them at bay if camping, is white smoke (eg ferns!)
Or a pipe :D
What an excellent idea - now all we need to do is the same but for chavs in the UK....
There are some even worse midges throughout Scotland
They have been crossed with leeches, and are known as "The SNP"
