Been on the beta for Skydrive for months now.
Its okay, does what it says on the tin
Yeah we use it too. Very handy.
Its alright for the Kids who don't have USB drives
Yeah that's what we do - tell the kids to use it for their coursework.
There won't be the excuse that "I lost my USB on the bus"
No, but we get lots of 'Sir, I've forgotten my password"........ :x
:D
Aint kid's great - you can always tell when they haven't done their homework because they couldn't be arsed.
Someone i used to go to school with used to give there USB to the teach with a file saying coursework on it, and they corrupted the file so the teacher couldn't open it.
Yeah we had a kid who used to do that with a floppy disk - the teachers fell for it every time and used to send him up to the server room to see if we could help him. We used to let him play Quake with us over the mini lan we had installed in the server room.
doesn't surprise me the teachers believe it because its not an excuse if you know what i mean
I've had a kid snap his/her USB key in a USB port before (actually a number of times) then said to the teacher "hmm usb's b0rked." It's then been brought to me in the IT services office and i've gotten out a soldering iron...fixed it and watched the kid stand there bricking it trying to think up excuses why he/she/it STILL hasn't done their GCSE coursework on the third or fourth chance.
Most amusing.
We get kids handing in blank cd's saying their courswork is on them. Ah, I wonder if they realise that we know all these excuses, as we invented them when we were in school? :PQuote:
