Unlocking Moblile Phones

I have been given a nokia 2610 on orange and was wondering if anyone knew how to unlock it. If so could you tell me how.

It cannot be unlocked by web generated code, the provider orange can give you a code to enter into it otherwise it needs to be unlocked with a cable solution so you'd have to take it to a shop.

had not seen your post. just had a quick look at the suggested site. dosent support that model. just get a shop to do it

Ive tried that unlock.nokiafree.org and the phone aint on the site

like Plexer said, you should be able to just ring Orange up and ask them, they will either give you a code or send you a Sim Update which will do it for you.

They might ask for a fee, so might be worth just checking price from shops.
