Shaken not Stirred
Auckland got a bit jumpy today, had a couple of earthquakes today, tiny little ones Auckland shaken by small quakes but they were notable for containing the first one I actually felt and have not simply slept through. Used to living next to a badly maintained - not that there are any other kinds in NZ - main road so feel earthquake like things every time a truck speeds past at 90m/h over the pot holes.
Interesting if nothing else.

I hope they are not a prelude to something more serious.

We do get earthquakes from time to time so it shouldn't be anything to major.
On the plus side we had rain for the first time in about a month so the lawn is now a darker shade of brown and at some point the grass may grow back.

Now rain in New Zealand, that is very good news indeed. Let's hope you get more :)
