Hi all. Can anyone recommend a Windows Live Mail replacement. I'm wondering if there's a client that uses exchange activesync like on my Android phone, I'd like to be able to see my folders and use the calendar from my Hotmail account.
Any suggestions or can this not be done?

I don't have a copy of MS Office, can Outlook be bought separately?
Not sure. Office 2013 is currently only available for business customers and TechNet/MSDN subscribers. I think the only way to get Outlook 2013 at home would be with an Office 365 Home Premium subscription. :(
Probably a better option would be the (free) web-based Outloook.com since this also supports ActiveSync. If you want to transfer your existing e-mail and contacts from Windows Live Mail there is a plug-in available for Internet Explorer.
I just signed in to Outlook.com with my Hotmail account and all my contacts and email was already there.
I still can't get Livemail to connect to it though. It must be a registry issue as if I create a new windows user account and setup Livemail it works.
