Actually the installers who put the system in did not tidy them up, it's on our helpdesk to finish the work off for both server rooms.
This could go in the common sense thread "Able to install something right way up"!

The excuse was its a Stone computers chassis and its front folds out so it was "right" when it was unfolded....
At least they got it lining up with the U markings. Most of our racks, installed by a predecessor (my favorite saying at the moment), installed most of ours with a 1/3 U gap between each item to allow cables to run in between the switches.
