Very interesting indeed. I had a glimpse of F1 IT with a little work I did for Jordan in the late 90's. Whole different boardgame now though with entire cars designed and built around what a computer says. Wouldn't mind some of their kit! ;)

I met one of my wife's cousins at a wedding recently and she had just turned down a job offer from McLaren!

Dream job, working in IT in F1, for McLaren. I would have to show them my McLaren tattoo in the interview mind...
When Sky did the F1 channel for free earlier in the Summer one of the supplemental programmes was a look around the factory where the ECUs were made all for the cars. The Beeb really have dropped the ball.
I still want to sit in the Mclaren simulator.....
