    Must say I have seen an increase around our area of Lycra clad posers this year, each to their own.

    Seriously though know your limits - I think deep down you know if lycra complements you or not.

    ....I don't look good in a Mankini or Budgie-smuggling speedo's so I don't wear them, even if I am beach bound!

    I wouldn't disagree but that won't stop 90% of people attracted to cycling, going to Halfords. One reason being that they would be afraid of showing their ignorance in a proper shop, wheras they know an Halfords, the assistants will be just as ignorant.
