Indeed great result. Shows how far GB cyclists have progressed in the last few years. Now for the Olympics !

Cracking job by Wiggo and the whole of the Sky team, now for some Olympic Gold

Must say I have seen an increase around our area of Lycra clad posers this year, each to their own.

An independent bike shop, run by cyclists who know what they're doing! I have an excellent one near me.

Lycra's supremely practical, but it's not easy on the eyes.

Hey, depends who is wearing it!

Seriously though know your limits - I think deep down you know if lycra complements you or not.

....I don't look good in a Mankini or Budgie-smuggling speedo's so I don't wear them, even if I am beach bound!

I wouldn't disagree but that won't stop 90% of people attracted to cycling, going to Halfords. One reason being that they would be afraid of showing their ignorance in a proper shop, wheras they know an Halfords, the assistants will be just as ignorant.

I disagree. Greggs, the pie shop, would be the last place I'd go to buy a bike.

    Lycra.

    It's a privilege. Not a right.
