Still Crazy. It gets very dusty in the room at the final festival scene when they do 'The Flame Still Burns'. But it is hellishly uplifting, and the entire film is a hoot from start to finish

Films don't cut it for me when I'm down. There is only one cure, and that is to listen to the music of Nico, especially "The End" and "Behind the Iron Curtain". When you're reaching for the razor blades, her voice will reveal to you that all isn't that bad after all!

I'm not a happy person so there are a lot of movies that I turn to:

Shawshank Redemption - triumph against adversity
Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure - there is always time to make a difference
Cypher - Blind will can ocomplish anything
Equlibrium - Emotion is a double edged sord
    October Sky - goal setting
Red Planet - value in all forms of human behaviour
The Usual Suspects - Seemingly powerless can have power
Law Abiding Citizen - Justice is a group effort
    etc.

Just thought of a couple of others that are good for me...

Hot Fuzz - "look at his hooorse" - "it's all for the greater good..."
Porco Rosso - can't think of a quote but love the film anyway!

Ooo, that's a tough one. Maybe Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. The movie is overflowing with dry sarcasm.
