Roll on summer
The temperature in our 6' x 18' windowless, unventilated, non-air conditioned server cupboard has now reached 36c.
The noise from the "cooling" fans roaring at full revs on 3 servers, a UPS and a switch rack must be over a safe level for H&S.
If I had a brighter lightbulb, and a criminal inclination, I could grow some cannabis to ease the working environment!
As it is I'm thankful for VNC.

Re: Roll on summer
Lol. I wouldn't do that. The kids would probably break into the server room and knick it all before you can get to it. But saying that I had a few friends who built a computer for someone very stoned and the darn thing NEVER crashed or broke down. So it might make the server more stable.

I had a "friend" at uni who might have smoked a lot of that with his friends, the pc was completely stable for the 8 months... moment it went home and didn't have to breath it in it's crashed ever since lol...
