This is my daily driver and I love it!!! Great on fuel, very versatile, use it for camping weekends, also got the dog crate in there for my girl.

I wanted one, I bought the exact year, mileage, colour and interior that I wanted and I'm really happy with it.

And you know what they say...................'Sticks and stones can break my bones, but whips and chains excite me'.

Or have I got that wrong somewhere?

I'm sensing a sense of humour failure over the joke???

Indeed, your car will have been called all of those things....but I rarely see women driving them! Must just be the area that I live!

P.S. I like my "hair-raising, edge of the envelope family" estate car! Had my time with cars that I "WANT".... Now I have a car that I NEED!

I upgraded my car a little while back too but I won't post pictures of it as it looks like it has been rolled. Parking in school car parks is murder, the doors are practically corrugated

Parking on my drive is a pain at the moment as I still have the Mondeo to get rid of. 6 Vehicles and a trailer tent in residence at the moment....

    Combine BHP of 1090 ...

I've had the same with a Pug 205 CTI, MX-5 and a couple of MGFs. They usually come from people like you describe, and they have no idea of the fun and freedom these cars give you.

To be fair it's more like four wheel driving given the state of our roads, or more accurately small patches of tarmac in a sea of dirt and loose gravel depressions (in the same way the grand canyon is a depression).

love it! nearly went for a BMW 540i (4.4 V8) recently but as the tourings are super rare with that engine and it was a bit rough I ended up with a 530i touring M Sport instead. Still enough oomph to be fun.
Saying that my daily driver is a 2004 Smart ForTwo and that is fun in an entirely different way!

Just had to fork out £90 because my engine warning light came on (turns out a sensor needed replacing)

And the lights back on... this time it's both flashing and staying on so I think I have two problems. I sense a "why don't I have a rubbish car" thread coming on..

P.S It's the original error (ER 0209) + one that appears to indicate a low battery (DTC 9318 - Battery Voltage less than 10v), anyone with a bit of car know how able to answer some questions...

Would the current weather potentially have cause my low voltage? (and will it go away when it dries up?)...

Would a low voltage cause the idle to be slightly off? (only slightly it's not struggling but unlike before I can feel the idle through my pedals and it doesn't feel consistent)

Since I took the car back I've heard a random knock, which only happens completely randomly rarely in quick succession (two knocks in ten seconds happened only once) but usually just the once every 20 minutes or so (it sounds just like someone knocking on the bonnet), any ideas? Anything lose that the mechanic might not have put back correctly that can potentially cause this?

p.s The first error code was the emission unit, which I was told was caused by a misfunctioning solenoid that measures the exhaust fumes.

Yes batteries report lower in cold temps (but its not that cold atm) but under 10v is too low and really needs replacing unless its a charging issue like a duff alternator
